Australia‘s largest retailer of Mobile phone, Smartphone and Tablet accessories has a vacancy for an experienced, skilled and motivated IT Support Technician.
Key duties and Responsibilities
? Assist in maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, and monitoring POS system.
? Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal
? Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future computer hardware needs.
? Conduct research, evaluate and recommend hardware products for purchase.
? Perform PC, hardware and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
? Liaise with, and provide training and support to, end users and staff on computer operation and other issues.
? Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
Requirements
? Experience in the IT Support environment or other related job descriptions desired
? Diploma or university degree, preferably in the field of computer science or related degree and/or 2 years equivalent work experience.
? worked in a retail environment or POS experience a Plus
