King’s Own Institute (KOI) is located in Sydney CBD and a leading provider of quality educational services including Bachelor and Master degrees in Accounting and Management.
An opportunity exists for a Full Time Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an all rounder position that is in charge of finance team and provides all accounting and administrative support to the CEO with the day-to-day financial operations of the Institute. To be successful in this role you will bring the following knowledge and skills (key selection criteria):
1. Strong work ethic and team leader and player.
2. Understanding of general accounting principles.
3. Knowledge and experience in the use of MYOB accounting package.
4. Strong computing skills including Excel/Word skills .
5. Ability to prioritise work and to meet strict deadlines.
6. Ability to work with high volume transactions.
7. Good interpersonal, customer-service and communication skills.
8. At least 3 years work experience.
Degree(s) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential, while experience working in a international educational institute would be viewed favourably.
Salary positioning will be dependent on skills and relevant experience.
