Our client, one of the leading construction companies in the global market is currently seeking a qualified business development manager due to an extremely high priority exploration initiative in Australia.
An establishment of Brisbane branch is currently underway and the successful candidates will play a major role in business development in Australia as a business development manager. This is a newly created opportunity which requires an ambitious individual who can make immediate contribution to the company's operation and who wishes to strengthen their career within the construction sector, either locally or internationally.
The successful candidate must have experience in a similar role and have good background knowledge or qualifications in civil engineering and construction industry. The business development role will involve liaising with existing and new diverse companies and will lead the developing and implementing of strategic plans to improve business.
You will use your business development and relationship management skills to develop markets through high levels of service and grow your client portfolio. The role will require you to develop strategies to acquire new clients in the Market. This will require someone who is highly skilled in stakeholder management, both internally and externally, and someone who has worked within this type of investment environment previously.
To be successful in this position, you will have a demonstrated background in managing a busy corporate environment.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to)
- Realising undertaken business's full potentiality along with marketing, sales, information management and customer service
- Assessments of marketing opportunities and target markets
- Identify market value chains, voice of customers, market drivers, competition, and market trends
- Verify and create new growth opportunity for sales by working with regional & global business team for the needed supports
- Build strong customer relationships and engage key influencer at key accounts
- Resolve customer complaints if any by working with various regional and/or global functional leaders (Problem solving)
- Support technical consulting for customers
- Generating leads for possible sales & follow-up sales activity
- Formal proposal writing & Business model design
The Requirements
- Team management skill with strong interpersonal and communication ability reaching the common goal
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English
- Proven communication and negotiation skill with highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to liaise with partners at all levels
- Strong analytical ability & presentation skills
- Proven experiences in relation to business development
(A number of years experience within large organizations in the Construction Industries)
- Solid understanding of the nature of large organization or multinational corporate culture
-Ability to influence effectively on the operation
- Proven negotiation skill with highly developed problem solving skills
- A Degree in Civil Engineering (not essential)
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Visa holder ONLY
