Our client is one of the leading construction companies in the global market. Due to an extremely high priority exploration initiative in Australia, they are now seeking a qualified Admin/Accounting Officer to join their high profile and expanding team in Perth CBD.
An establishment of Perth Branch is currently underway and the successful candidates will play a major role in business development in Australia.
This is a newly created opportunity which requires an ambitious individual who wishes to develop their career within the construction sector, either locally or internationally. Admin/Accounting Officer will take a responsibility for supporting the project team for the latest WA-based projects. Admin/Accounting Officer is responsible for the company’s accounts payable/receivable, payroll functions as well as administrative tasks from time to time as directed by the Manager.
To be successful in this position, you will have a demonstrated background in managing a busy corporate environment. You will need strong administration skills and attention to detail with the proven ability to deadlines and priorities. Strong organisational skills with the flexibility to respond to changing deadlines, strong interpersonal and communication skills, advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint are also a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities include:
? Responding to telephone
? Communication and correspondence
? General admin support to the staffs and Management
? Day-to-day office admin including office operation & maintenance
? Set-up and management of processes for expenses and petty cash
? General research for the management team
? Diary and mail management
? Domestic & international travel arrangements and meeting management
? Purchasing and maintaining office supplies
? AP/AR & Payroll responsibility
The Requirements
? A Degree in Accounting / Commerce / Finance (not essential)
? Significant experiences in a large organization or multinational corporate culture
? Speak fluent English and Korean (excellent verbal and written communication)
? A number of years experience within large organizations in the Construction Industries, but other related sector experience will be considered.
? Proven communication and negotiation skill with highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
? Computer literate with experience in corporate systems
? Report writing skills are essential
? Work autonomously
? Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Visa holder ONLY
