Fantastic opportunity to join a residential construction company with established name & reputation in the role of, Site Foreman.
Experience/Skills Required:
-Proven experience as construction foreman (at least 3-5 years)
-In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
-Manage day to day on-site activities to ensure subcontractors are fulfilling their contractual responsibilities in terms of safety, quality and programme
-Daily site dairy to capture daily site performance and monitor all activities
-Strong background with construction detailing and problem solving
-Sound ability to read and understand drawings/plans and scopes of work
-Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
-Produce schedules and monitor attendance of subcontractors
-Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
-Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
-Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
-Resolve problems when they arise
-Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
-Excellent organizational and leadership skills
-Ability to communicate and report effectively
-High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (carpenter, electrician etc.)
