ASSOCIATE, LOAN
[Role description]
This role is responsible for assisting the Head of Loans with loan structuring and the monitoring of loan performance & counterparty. The role also involves entering loan applications and credit assessments into banking system and managing loans.
[Responsibilities]
-Assist senior managers with credit approval process and portfolio management
-Analyze loan transaction and supporting documents to ensure its adherence to all internal policies
-Responsible for the day-to-day loan operation and ensuring timely and reliable processing of loan disbursement, rollovers and collection of principal repayments, interest and fees.
-Maintain of log for covenants, collateral monitoring and check for satisfaction of condition precedents.
-Assist senior managers in the updates of policies, procedures and standards
-Perform credit analysis and risk assessment on new and existing credit facilities
[Competencies]
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field (Accounting, Finance or Commerce).
-Ability to understand financial statements
-Lending and credit assessment experience preferred.
-Qualification such as CFA, FRM or CPA is highly regarded.
