We are located at 1007 Victoria Road in West Ryde opened in December 2021 and open for breakfast, and lunch with specialises in healthy meals, amazing desserts, and world-renowned Toby’s Estate Coffee.
We are looking for a head chefs/Sous chef who is passionate about food and has a creative flair. Opening for Breakfast and Lunch.
Main duties:
? Menu planning
? Great cooking skills and attention to detail.
? The ability to manage a budget and keep accurate records
? Managing stock and ordering food from various suppliers
? Maintaining good health and hygiene standards
? Organising the staff rota and ensuring everyone knows what they’re doing and when
? Recruiting new staff and training and developing existing team members.
? Good organisation and communication skills.
? The ability to work under pressure.
? The ability to inspire others and help them develop.
You will bring to the role at least 2 years of experience in cafes in Australia.
Education/Skills: At least Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
