About the business
We, NongHyup Bank (NH Bank), are in the process of obtaining the banking license and establishing the Sydney Branch (“Company”) in Sydney CBD to operate a wholesale banking business in Australia. The banking licence is expected to be issued during August 2022, and we envision to begin operations from September.
NH Bank is one of the largest retail and wholesale banks in Korea and is currently expanding its global network. The Sydney Branch plans to begin operations with a team of 13 staff, of which all staff currently employed are able to communicate fluently in Korean.
About the role :
Operation Team Member : Fund settlement (Funds and Loan related back office tasks including preparation and updating relevant information)) and foreign exchange related tasks (fund exchange), logging and sorting of SWIFT messages, preparation of related reports, etc.
Compliance Team Member: Computation management of the Branch’s daily, weekly, monthly Internal Control and AML systems, Preliminary review of contracts and forms, etc.
